English American Champion Monary Trudie
September 20, 1986 - July 16, 2001
Trudie was our English rose, so beautiful and bright.
She filled our hearts with happiness, and everything was right.
To see her move around the ring, a picture she did make.
So full of life, no one could doubt the title she would take.
In Veteran class she carried on with all her winning ways,
She charmed her way into your heart and there forever stayed.
A toy to squeak, a squirrel to chase, she'd no time for feeling blue.
Out for walks she'd always be way ahead of you.
Then suddenly we realized her zest for life was gone.
One day she would lay beside me and her time with us was done.
Her spirit winged its way above to pass through Heaven's gates-
And when it's time for us to go, we know that she awaits.
Her life with us was far too short; she's always in our hearts,
And when we meet up once again, we'll never part.
